The Real Work Begins After Winning the Grant
The project does not end with the funding decision — this is when the real work begins. Deadlines, milestones, procurements, payment requests and reports follow one another. Project management, project management consultancy and financial management have been part of my work since 2006, primarily in Győr-Moson-Sopron County — from managing large-scale higher education projects worth billions to administering smaller grants of HUF 1–2 million.
During implementation, I stay in contact with the intermediary organisation, monitor the fulfilment of commitments, and indicate in time if a contract amendment or budget reallocation is required. The project does not end here either — before implementation, grant monitoring and grant writing, cover the preparation phase, whileafter completion, I can also assist with maintenance reports .
Scheduling
I prepare a task and deadline plan aligned with the project milestones and the funding agreement.
Coordination
I coordinate communication between participants, suppliers and the intermediary organisation.
Financial Management
I monitor the use of budget lines to ensure that funds are spent in accordance with the applicable rules.
Financial Settlement
I prepare payment requests together with the required supporting documentation.
Documentation
I keep project records organised so that audits and inspections do not come as a surprise.
Project Closure
I support the project through to completion by preparing the final financial settlement and closing report.
